Honeycrisp Are Here!

A sure sign of the coming of fall is when we begin to pick Honeycrisp!  We continue to run nearly 2 weeks ahead of schedule, largely due to the hot, dry weather we’ve been experiencing basically since spring.  So it is a bit earlier than normal, but we will have Honeycrisp available on our stands for quite some time.  Each year we plant more Honeycrisp to try to meet the demand, so we hope to have them a bit longer this season.  In addition we have Gala, Golden Supreme, Asian Pears, Bartlett Pears, and plenty more will be coming before long!

Due to a good response, we will continue to remain open until 7:00 P.M. on Thursdays through the month of September.  Thank you to those of you who requested we stay open late and who are now patronizing us during that last hour.  We do appreciate it.

And finally – Labor Day.  Can you believe that we are heading toward the last holiday of summer?  We plan to be open Labor Day weekend – September 4 and 5 for our regular hours.  Saturday we will be open from 9 until 5 and Sunday from noon until 5.  On Labor Day Monday, we’ll be here from 9 until 3.
